Supporting energy efficiency leaders in Europe | Roger Léron Award 2022

FEDARENE, one of the REMARKABLE consortium partners, organises every year the Roger Léron Award to celebrate outstanding individuals who have significantly contributed to the energy transition at the local, regional and European level. Roger Léron Award nominees are evaluated by an expert jury according to their leadership, impact, creativity and strategic vision.

After six successful editions, the 2022 award comes with a thematic focus: Energy Efficiency Leaders. REMARKABLE supports leadership coming from the local & regional level.

Nomination

  • Nominate a candidate: by nominating candidates, you will highlight key personalities in the energy efficiency field. By giving the nominees visibility for their actions, others will be inspired to follow their lead. This will enable you to strengthen your network and reinforce your ties with the nominee, and more largely with the energy efficiency community.

Promotion

  • Promote the Award with your network: we share the same goal of enhancing energy efficiency and achieving the energy transition. There is a Roger Léron Award communication toolkit available to support you with promotion efforts.

The nomination process is open from the 1st of March until the 29th of April 2022 and nominations from all sectors will be accepted, provided that rules and criteria are respected.

REMARKABLE Climate Leaders will build new leadership capacity across Europe through a Climate Leadership Programme designed with and for climate leaders. Through a people-centred approach, Regional Energy Agencies will support leaders of public authorities and communities in implementing transformational roadmaps and innovative solutions to achieve climate neutrality.
